Brennan Othmann lead the Hartford Wolf Pack to the season opening 3-2 victory over the Providence Bruins that required a shootout to win the game. Carried by his two goals, he more than left his mark on the game. The Canadian winger rose to the occasion and sealed the deal, as this win was Hartford's sixth in a row in Providence.
