Rangers Completed A Transaction
Alex Belzile has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Belzile has appeared in 43 games with the Wolf Pack this season.
He leads the team in points with 37 (14 g, 23 a) and is tied for second in goals with 14.
Belzile has appeared in 44 career NHL games, all with the Canadiens, and scored 15 points (6 g, 9 a).
This will be the first of what is expected to be many transactions.
A player must be on an AHL roster by the 3 p.m. ET deadline in order to be sent down from the NHL at any point through the rest of the season.
