General manager Kyle Dubas of the Penguins has made it clear that he is preparing to move one of the best trade pieces in the NHL in Jake Guentzel.

He has stated what the price tag will be to acquire the top talent and the Vancouver Canucks appear to be the front runner to land the pending UFA.

What's more intriguing about this potential deal is that the Canucks recently made a major trade with the Calgary Flames to acquire Elias Lindholm. Earlier this evening, Chris Johnston of TSN tweet it out a shocking proposal to see Lindholm be flipped to the Bruins and Guentzel to head to the Canucks.

It's been several years since the NHL has seen a trade of this magnitude and it's unclear what Dubas would receive in all this potential transaction.

It's safe to say, that he would receive exactly what he hopes as he continues to look at this roster and realize it needs a major overhaul.

The Bruins would receive a top six forward that they have been looking for as they're trying to enhance their offence.

The Canucks would also get a top six forward that will help complement an already impressive set of players.

With the Jim Rutherford connection to the Penguins and the team wanting to move Guentzel by the end of March 6th, it means we could see some big action in the very near future.
