The Hockey community mourns the devastating loss of 18-year old goaltender

The hockey community mourns the tragic loss of another young hockey player, a goaltender, Danielle Munson, who unexpectedly passed away this past weekend.
Danielle Munson was known as an outstanding player within her division, someone who with such a talent for playing in nets, with a 13-2-1 record, and two shutouts.
The Minor Hockey Association in Regina, also known as Hockey Regina, shared their condolences and sympathy towards the Munson family:

Danielle was most recently the goaltender for the U18A Rebels Black.

Danielle was not only a beloved hockey player, but a beloved family member.
Her older sister, Serena Munson, shared a heartbreaking post on March 30th, in honour of her little sister Danielle:
«My dearest Danielle, you were a beautiful girl who was so intelligent, fun to be around and had the kindest soul, everyone loved you so much. You will forever be my best friend, I will miss our last minute car rides to 7/11, I will miss coming into your room and telling you about my day, I will miss seeing your face after a long day. I will miss you everyday. Life won't be the same without you baby sis You are loved by your friends and family may your beautiful soul rest in peace, I love you my Angel»
