A lot of rumors surrounded the former Stanley Cup Champion, Corey Perry, who decided to release a statement and apologizing to the Chicago Blackhawks Organization after being waived.
Basically it says he has begun working with mental health and substance abuse experts to discuss his struggles with alcohol.
He also squashed any rumors of a relationship with a teammates family.
