NHL TNT Completely Dissed Former NHL Player With Funny Statistics
Pregame and intermission analyst, Paul Bissonnette may have gotten shade thrown at him for his career numbers on television last night during the Washington Capitals game, against the New Jersey Devils from NHL TNT.
Instead of his career statistics being compared to other wingers, he is being compared to goaltenders for how many goals and assist they have scored in their career's.
Now, to be fair, he is getting compared to two of some of the greatest goaltenders in the history of the sport, with Martin Brodeur and Henrik Lundqvist.
Their longevity also have allowed them to accumulate certain stats.
But goaltender's aren't evaluated based on how many goals they scored or assisted on a goal. They are judged by save percentage, wins and goals allowed.
It's all poking fun at the former NHL player.
At least he can now say his name is in the same sentence as the two legendary goaltenders.
