According to several reports the Pittsburgh Penguins have signed former Stanley Cup Champion Robby Fabbri to a Professional Tryout, after reports have linked him to the New York Rangers this offseason.

The Pittsburgh Penguins organization has confirmed this, as they announced their official 2025 Training Camp Roster and Robby Fabbri is one of many listed.
New York Rangers Miss Out On Adding Former Stanley Cup Champion To The Lineup?
As stated before, several reports have linked Robby Fabbri to the New York Rangers this offseason. However, Chris Drury has decided not to take a chance on the 29-year old center.
Over the offseason, Chris Drury and the New York Rangers have made a ton of changes from management to players, along with a whole new coaching staff.
So despite Fabbri's career total of 106 goals and 110 assists in 442 games split between the Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, and the Anaheim Ducks. i believe the New York Rangers and Chris Drury made the right choice not to add him on a PTO, as the organization clearly has a different approach to the 2025-26 season.
Hearing the Penguins will bring Robby Fabbri to training camp on PTO.
