New York Rangers Top Prospect Reveals His Honest Take On J.T. Miller Being Named Captain

New York Rangers top prospect has just spoken out on J.T. Miller being named as the organizations next captain.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, and after months and months of speculation of who the New York Rangers would name as their next captain, the organization has officially named J.T. Miller as their 29th captain in franchise history.

Certainly something fans will have a opinion on as since the beginning of the offseason J.T. Miller, Vincent Trocheck, and even Adam Fox have all been named as candidates. However, many fans didn't want Miller to be named as captain due to his history with the Vancouver Canucks organization.
With that being said, one of the Rangers top prospect, Brennan Othmann, thinks otherwise as he wasn't afraid to voice his opinion.
Brennan Othmann Speaks Out On J.T. Miller Being Named Captain
Shortly after the Rangers named Miller as captain, players and many alike have voiced their opinions, one in particular being Brennan Othmann.

"J.T. is the type of player I look up too. I think that's the type of player I see myself playing like in a few years...He leads by example. Every team in the NHL would want a guy like J.T. on their team.

Certainly something that makes you question if the reports from Vancouver are true or not. I mean we all know Miller has a way of doing things and isn't afraid to voice his thoughts when he's unhappy. However, it's hard to believe that it was as bad as reports made it seem.
