NHL Remains Skeptical On Coyotes Future In Arizona
The NHL remains convinced a franchise should be in Arizona, but skeptical on the Coyotesnewest Phoenix arena plan.
The NHL is already preparing contingency plans that could relocate the Coyotes to Utah as soon as next season!
NHL insider Frank Seravalli, is all but convinced that this is a done deal.
The original idea was to let the June 27 auction play out, but two concerns emerged: first, about what would happen if Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo lost the auction, and second, the possibility of three more seasons at Mullett Arena with hardly any enthusiasm.
This will be a tricky situation for the league to handle, with the players, and the fans of the team.
