New York Rangers have officially signed young defenseman to term

The New York Rangers and GM Chris Drury have announced a signing, as they have locked down another defenseman.
According to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman, Drury and Rangers defenseman have to come to terms on a contract of 2 years, with an $2.2 Million AAV:
Braden Schneider and NYR have a deal

His previous contract, was signed in 2021, with a $925K cap hit and has proven himself in the Rangers system.
Schneider played 82 games for the Rangers in 2023-2024 posting 19 points(5 G, 14 A) with a +13 rating.
Schneider has also played in 43 career playoff games with the Rangers, scoring 6 points(1 G, 5 A) with a -3.
