We're over a week into free agency, and there's still a lot of players to yet find a home; specifically veterans.
Well, there's one veteran out there who could be beneficial to the New York Rangers.
Mark Giordano, defenseman, is still available. Giordano, 40, one of the oldest players in the NHL, would bring a nice veteran presence to the third line or to be a seventh defenseman on the league minimum. Plus, looking at the Rangers left side of the blue line, they could actually use him.
Giordano had nine points in 46 games last year with a +10 last season, being a somewhat positive presence to the Toronto Maple Leafs blue line.
Giordano could be a positive addition to the team and could help the Rangers compete.
