Major Update Released On The Vancouver Canucks Starter Thatcher Demko
In surprising news, the Vancouver Canucks are in a 3-2 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers, during the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Canucks are eager to make their first Western Conference Finals appearance since 2011, during their Stanley Cup run.
Since the middle of 1st round of the NHL playoffs, they have been without starting goalie Thatcher Demko, instead having to rely upon Artur Silovs and Casey DeSmith.
With Rick Tocchet's approval, the 3rd stringer has made a great showing in the post-season, with a 2.62 GAA and a .907 save percentage.
According to Rick Tocchet Demko is making progress, but a return isn't happening yet:
Game 6 against the Edmonton Oilers can secure the Canucks a ticket to the WCF, can Silovs, JT Miller finish the story, or will they let the Oilers push the series to game 7?
