Many NHL players are reaching out to social media expressing their disdain towards some of their former head coaches.

One of the most recognizable ones is former Rangers forward Brandon Dubinsky who was playing for John Tortorella during their time in Columbus and the Rangers.

It almost became a daily event where Torts would always call out Dubinsky for his play and basically turned him into his whipping boy.

Brandon Dubinsky posted a tweet today showing his dislike towards his former head coach as the Sean Couturier controversy continues to build in Philadelphia.

It's clear, that Torts continues to irritate Dubinsky even after they're no longer on the same team let alone playing in the NHL.

In his classic fashion, torts benched newly minted captain Sean couturier from last night's game as he felt that his play has not lived up to what Torts' standards are.

His strategy seems odd as the Flyers are clinging to their playoff spot with other teams moving in quickly while driving a wedge in your dressing room with your new captain.

But as all hockey fans know, Torts will do what he thinks is right and will make a point to address it to the media as much as possible.

After their convincing win against Toronto, time will tell whether this strategy was the right one or the wrong one.
