Zibanejad Gives His Take On Hit That He Received Against Islanders
Mika Zibanejad is set to play after an injury scare on Tuesday night in the 4-2 loss to the Islanders, as Rangers aim to lock up the Metropolitan Division, and the No. 1 seed in the East.
The scare involved Zibanejad, who collided with Adam Pelech on his way to the bench halfway through the third period.
Head coach Peter Laviolette suggested Pelech's hit was intentional and vicious. Zibanejad gives his thoughts on the hit:
The Rangers will have their chance at revenge Saturday night, with the possibility of ruining the playoff chances for the Islander.
