The Rangers have run through a gauntlet of the NHL's top teams in recent weeks and come out of it with the best record in the league. They now boast a 20-4-1 record since the all-star break. Vincent Trocheck gives props to the team for how they handled the Avalanche defensively:
What is most impressive in the win last night, the Rangers have ended Nathan MacKinnon's 35-game home point streak and 19-game overall point streak.
This is a combination of Igor Shesterkin's brilliant play and the overall team defense that has elevated this team to the best in the league!
The magic number to the No. 1 seed in the East is 13.
