Some very terrifying scenes emerge from the New York Rangers game on Monday night as top prospect is forced to leave the game after taking a slapshot to the face.
During the second period of the New York Rangers game on Monday night, Rangers top offensive prospect, Noah Laba, was forced to exit the game after taking a slapshot straight to the face from Vinnie Hinostroza while defending on the penalty kill.
Noah Laba on for the PK has a shot by Hinostroza deflect off his stick and apparently get him in the face. He's being helped off the ice right now. Doesn't look good at all.
Not long after the incident, Noah Laba managed to return to the New York Rangers bench, wearing a full face shield. Displaying what it means to be a hockey true hockey player.
Wow. Laba is back on the #NYR bench with a bubble on.
Laba is back about 10 minutes after leaving the ice with a blood trail. He is wearing a full window cage, some bandages and a lot of swelling. But he's back.
