Earlier on Sunday evening, the Buffalo Sabres organization had completed a shocking roster transaction involving former New York Ranger defenseman.
According to the Buffalo Sabres organization, former Rangers defenseman Zac Jones has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League as they are dealing with several injuries.
It appears the move was made as they won't have Jacob Bryson available after he exited yesterday's win over the Panthers and entered concussion protocol. Recalling Jones now give them two options for their next upcoming game, between Jones and Zach Metsa.

Zac Jones Joins The Buffalo Sabres After The New York Rangers Refuse To Resign Him
Jones signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Buffalo Sabres worth a minimum of $500,000 and a maximum of $900,000, after they refused to resign him as a free agent on July 2nd.
