Some very unfortunate injury news strikes just hours before the New York Rangers vs Montreal Canadiens game on Saturday night, resulting in a last-minute call-up to be made.
According to several reports, three players from the Montreal Canadiens have sustained an injury will be sidelined from Saturday nights game against the New York Rangers.
In an official statement released by the Montreal Canadiens, they announced and confirmed that Kaiden Guhle will be sidelined for four to six weeks, while Patrick Laine and Kirby Dach are day-to-day with lower-body injuries. Resulting in a last-minute roster transaction.
Defenseman Kaiden Guhle (lower body, 4 to 6 weeks) and forwards Kirby Dach (lower body, day-to-day) and Patrik Laine (lower body, day-to-day) will not play tonight. Forward Owen Beck has been recalled from the Laval Rocket (emergency recall).
