Trusted NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman has just confirmed whether or not the Department of Player Safety will be getting involved after former Rangers forward received a brutal hit from Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson.
On Sunday afternoon, former Rangers and now current Vancouver Canucks forward, Filip Chytil was forced to exit the game against the Washington Capitals after receiving a questionable hit from Tom Wilson.
Nearing the end of the first period, Filip Chytil, needed assistance from his teammates to exit the ice. Certainly very possible that Chytil has sustained another concussion, putting his NHL career in question once again given his long list of head injuries in his career.

Chytil went to the dressing room, and after review, there was no penalty on the play.

On Sunday night, Elliotte Friedman took to social media and announced whether or not the NHL Department of Player Safety would be getting involved to hand out any further supplementary discipline to Tom Wilson. But to no surprise, Friedman confirmed the NHL DoPS won't be getting involved:
