The New York Rangers have just received some major news ahead of their upcoming game against the Minnesota Wild on Monday night as veteran defenseman is expected to return.

Back on October 11th, New York Rangers veteran defenseman Caron Soucy crashed head first into the boards during the second period when they were facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and has since been sidelined on Injured Reserve (IR).
However, earlier on Monday the Rangers finally received some good news as Soucy was seen at practice wearing a normal jersey and taking reps with the team, meaning he's most likely good to go.

Carson Soucy Reveals He's "Good To Go" Ahead Of Monday Night Game

Not long after the Rangers practice, Carson Soucy spoke to the media and revealed that the injury looked worse than it was, and that he's good to go for tonight's game against the Wild.
Soucy said of the injury «it looked worse than it was.»

Added: «It also didn't feel great at the time, (but) little more just shocked when it happened. I was obviously a little stiff the next couple days, but I've been feeling good.»

Said he's good to go tonight.
Certainly some positive news for the Rangers, as they will need a full team effort to finally get their first goal on home ice at Madison Square Garden, as they have created NHL history for being the first team to be shutout during their first three games on home ice.
