Recap Of Brennan Othmann Season With The Wolf Pack
The Rangers will finally resume play tomorrow after a long break!
But we still have a game today with the Rangers affiliate team, the Hartford Wolf Pack while we wait a little longer!
They play against the Syracuse Crunch at 7pm. A player we have kept our eyes on as the next likely candidate to get called up to the NHL,
Brennan Othmann.
David Shapiro, owner of the
Blue Seat Blogs Website and co-host of the Blue Seats Live podcast, does an incredible job in highlighting the top prospects for the Rangers throughout the season. I highly recommend you check out his site as well as listen to his podcast.
Brennan Othmann has got off to a tremendous start of the season, scoring two goals from seven shots in his AHL debut, but only has points in three games since then.
He has cooled off a bit, having points in three games since then. In 13 games, he has two goals, five assists and seven points total.
He remains aggressive, maintaining three shots on goal each game, just hasn't been lucky with getting the puck behind the net.
But he has been composed and looks comfortable out on the ice.
There is still plenty of time for the 20 year old to start piling up points. He has the capability as shown earlier in the season.
The Rangers will need another winger to solidify the team by the trade deadline. If they can't find anyone by then, he's the next man up.
