The vibes are great with the team right now.

Riding a five game win streak, key contributions from several of their players, and sitting at first place in the Metropolitan Division.
The Rangers have won the first seven of their nine games into the season for the fifth time in franchise history.
Their last two wins? Overtime nail biters against the Vancouver Canucks Saturday, and the Winnipeg Jets last night.
How did the Rangers achieve these victories? Look no further than Artemi Panarin, who has been the Rangers best player thus far.
He has contributed at least a point every single game so far this season, for nine consecutive games, especially for his 32nd birthday last night!
I've been a broken record saying this, but Chris Kreider is just about the most dangerous player to have on special teams, whether he has the man advantage, or is short handed.

He cannot be stopped.

Igor Shesterkin was fantastic last night. Stopping 27 of 29 shots, including several high danger chances from the Jets to secure his fifth win of the season, and out dueling Connor Hellebuyck.
Shesterkin was also perfect during this road trip, winning three games and his numbers looking like he could win his second Vezina Trophy this season.
Lastly, let's give high praise for Mika Zibanejad, who has been lighting it up the last few games after a somewhat slow start, and score the game winner to seal the fifth straight win!
This was also his second straight game scoring a goal, after failing to score one the first seven games of the season.
A lot of good stuff to take in, but it's still a long road into the season, and we have only just begun.
Rangers next take the ice Thursday, November 2nd, against the Caroline Hurricanes, at Madison Square Garden.
