Rangers captain Jacob Trouba played the first shift of the second period on the penalty kill and hasn't been on the ice since.

He was not on the bench throughout the entire second period. No information as to why he left the game.
He did take an elbow hit to the head prior to him leaving the game.
We will update as more information becomes available.
Meanwhile, the Rangers take a 3-1 lead heading into the second! After the Capitals opened the scoring, the Rangers reeled off three straight!
The first coming from K'Andre Miller with a backhand shot!
The second comes from the Breadman! Artemi Panarin with the power play goal!
