William Nylander has been on scorching season-opening point streak, only matched by Artemi Panarin.

He's on pace to eclipse Icon Gilmour's record for most points in Maple Leafs history.
Of course with this hot start, has increased his market value with each passing game he continues to explode, explained by NHL studio analyst, Kevin Weekes.
This is a contract year for Nylander, as he can become a free agent after this season.
ESPN sportscaster, John Buccigross, interestingly has the Rangers as a possible destination for the explosive right winger.
Buccigross estimates an eight year, $90,000,000 contract, with a projected market value of $11,250,000 is minimum to resign in Toronto.
I cannot even begin to envision a scenario of how the Rangers could pull off a signing of this magnitude.
Three defensemen, Erik Gustafsson, Ryan Lindgren and Braden Schneider will become unrestricted free agents next season.
The Rangers will likely resign all three, and with the season Gustafsson is having, his value is increasing substantially.
The Rangers could try to offset Barclay Goodrow to clear $3.6 million, off the boards, but that still wouldn't be enough to sign Nylander and his estimate yearly market value.
Kaapo Kakko will also become a restricted free agent. Despite his disappointing start to the season, it's more likely the Rangers will resign him for his estimated $2.1 million market value.
Chris Drury has pulled off some magic before with trades, but this is a whole other animal. I'll say this, that would be one heck of a first line with Kreider, Zibanejad and Nylander.
