Rangers Captain Has Been Fined By The NHL
Last night, Jacob Trouba has been fined by the NHL Department Of Player Safety $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for high-sticking Boston's Trent Frederic.
Here is the event in question:
Frederic is originally holding his arm, then let's go, and the stick comes up.
Jacob Trouba originally might have been trying to wack Frederic in the back of the leg.
That said, the fine is warranted, whether it's incidental or not.
