The Rangers are looking to add a few missing pieces as we approach the deadline to make a serious push in the playoffs and win the Stanley Cup.
It appears that there seems to be some interest regarding Pavel Buchnevich.
According to insider Frank Sevaralli, Blues GM Doug Armstrong has announced that not only is he willing to move Buchnevich but he is also willing to retain up to 50% of his contract which would make his cap hit only 2.9 Million next season.
"#Stlblues Doug Armstrong has let interested teams know that he is willing to «get creative» and potentially retain as much as half on a player like Buchnevich, bumping him down to just $2.9 million next season."
Pavel Buchnevich would be a great addition to the Rangers as he is a hard hitting player that can also find the back of the net.
He currently has 48 points in 60 games with an 8 +/- rating this season.
Pavel Buchnevich was drafted by the Rangers and played here until the 2020-21 season.
