Peter Laviolette breaks personal record after Game Two win
Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette has had a phenomenal first season with his team as he along with his team won the president's trophy beating a Rangers record 55 wins.
He also did another personal best after Game Two's 4-3 win against the capitals where he has one two playoff games with his new team.
When Laviolette arrived, his message was clear he felt the team needed to be at a playoff readiness as soon as possible and stay the course through the entire year kid it seems that that idea has paid off as the team is prepared and willing to go the extra mile to winning the games.
Laviolette also spoke during his press conference after the win and explained that his team has been stepping up their game across the board including physicality as Alexis lafreniere and Artemi Panarin are jumping into the play throwing their weight around.
With no quit in the Rangers and the team firing on all cylinders currently, it certainly looks good for their chances to move on to the next round. Though everyone needs to be cautious as you never underestimate Alexander Ovechkin.
