Rangers Overcoming Horrific Officiating With Incredible Team Play
The Rangers heading to the third with a commanding 4-2 lead over the Washington Capitals! Incredible team effort from everyone, the latest being a beautiful shorthanded goal from K'Andre Miller!
The Rangers penalty kill has been dominate for two games now. They had a few shorthanded chances that didn't go, but now they converted! Jack Roslovic also sniped his first NHL playoff goal to give the Rangers the lead!
This great performance comes as the refs have been rather inconsistent with their whistle this game. Artemi Panarin has been hit in the face with a high stick twice now.
Mika Zibanejad also clearly got tripped by Martin Fehervary early in the first, but no call. Clearly the Capitals are aiming to take advantage of the whistle inconsistency. Regardless, the Rangers should take care of business.
