Panarin Could Break, And Tie, Two Franchise Records Tomorrow!
Artemi Panarin has lit the league on fire since the opening game of the season, and he hasn't stopped.
Panarin has eight goals and 16 assists for 24 points total in 14 games, tied for fifth in the league in points.
He is projected for 141 points if this pace continues throughout 82 games, which is remarkable and would break a franchise record for most points registered by a player.
However, there is another franchise record Panarin can break tomorrow.
If he manages to register a point against the New Jersey Devils, he will extend his season-opening point streak to 15 games, which would be a Rangers record.
What is interesting, the goat, Wayne Gretzky holds the Rangers record for longest point streak at any point in a season. Panarin could also tie that as well tomorrow.
The most important thing that can come out of tomorrow is a win over the hated Devils. But we will keep our eyes on that score card to see the man keep this streak alive!
