The New York Rangers 2025-26 season has already been filled with a ton of struggles, from three scoreless nights on home ice, to personal issues affecting players.

On Tuesday night the New York Rangers created NHL history as they became the first team in NHL history to be shutout in each of their first three home games to begin a new season. Something that has resulting in one particular player to speak out on his own performance.
Following the Rangers 2-0 loss on Tuesday night, superstar forward Artemi Panarin finally spoke to the media regarding his ongoing struggles early in the 2025-26 season as he still remains scoreless after five games.

Early during the New York Rangers 2025 Training Camp, superstar forward Artemi Panarin sustained a lower-body injury on September 19th, that kept his sidelined throughout the Rangers entire Training Camp and preseason.

After a while, Panarin did start to practice with the team in hopes that he would make at least one appearance during the New York Rangers preseason. Unfortunately that didn't happen as he scratched right before the teams second last preseason game as Mike Sullivan and the organization stated that they were going to err on the side of caution.
However, with that being said, Panarin returned for the Rangers opening-night game on October 7th and has since played all five games but it's clear he's dealing with something as he remains scoreless. Resulting in him to open up to the media here's what he had to say:
"The last two, like, I at least feel better. But, yeah, we still lost those games. Not scoring anything, so... It's never easy. Hockey is life for us. You're always thinking about that. We just got to change our way and start winning games, especially got to start winning games at home."
Hopefully things change sooner than later as the Rangers need to start tallying more wins then losses.
