New York Rangers Star Defenseman Snaps Back At Doubters After Achieving The Unthinkable

New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox found himself struggling to play up to the Norris Trophy caliber we've seen him perform up to last season. This year, he's already proving his doubters wrong, as he's scored three points through the first three regular-season games.
Adam Fox could be poised for a rebound season after his first three games in 2025-26.
In the first three games of the regular season, the defenseman has scored 3 points (2-1).
Now the veteran Norris Trophy winner is speaking out on his hot streak, which could set the tone for both the Blueshirts and Fox:
"It feels good. Some of that's just puck luck; law of averages. You still finish around the same amount, but I want to be able to contribute. It's nice to see some go in early. I'm just trying to do a lot of the same things. Whether it goes in or not, just delivering at the net, and sometimes they find a way to go in."
Last season, he produced 61 points (10-51) and did it all the while nursing an upper-body
injury last March.
A respectable number for someone who typically has scored 70+ points or more the last three years in the NHL.
Is This The Year Defenseman Adam Fox Rebounds?
Although it could be too early to call it, all signs show that the Rangers have had a change in their attitudes early this year.
With a new captain in JT Miller, Fox, Panarin, and Zibanejad have to help lead the way into greater things this year.
One of those ways is leading from the front, where Fox
produces at an elite-level again and helps keep the team in the game on both ends of the ice.
