New York Rangers Reveal Eight Centennial Theme-Nights To Celebrate And Honour 100-Years Of History

Just moments ago the New York Rangers issued a pretty exciting update on how they plan to honour and celebrate their Centennial Season.
As the 2025-26 NHL season nears, we get closer and closer to the New York Rangers 100th-year anniversary as a franchise in the National Hockey league, their Centennial Season, and we finally know how they plan to celebrate and honour the teams historic legacy as they confirm eight centennial theme nights.
Earlier this morning, MSG Sports Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James Dolan, spoke out on the New York Rangers centennial season and revealed just how special it is to be celebrating 100-years.
«We are looking forward to the celebration of the Rangers Centennial season - one that will be truly unforgettable for our fans and honors the Rangers' storied history,» said MSG Sports Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James Dolan. "This is a special opportunity to recognize the great moments, players, and so much more that has brought us all together for a century of Rangers hockey."
New York Rangers Eight Centennial Theme-Nights For The 2025-26 Season
Here's a break down of the Rangers eight Centennial Theme-Nights:
To begin the season they will start with the "1926-42 - Birth of the Franchise" that will take place on October 20, 2025. Followed by the following events and dates, "Milestones and Moments" on November 8, 2025, "1942-67 - Original Six Era" November 16, 2025, "1967-91 - The New Garden" December 13, 2025, then in the new year "Fan Favorites" on January 8, 2026, "1991-04 - Legendary Blueshirts" January 26, 2026, "Goaltenders" February 5, 2026 and then lastly "2004-present - Modern Era" on March 5, 2026, to close out their centennial theme nights.
The 2025-26 season will truly be a special one for the New York Rangers and all their fans, something President and GM Chris Drury has acknowledge:
