New York Rangers projected lineups: 4 Nations players status have just been confirmed
Taking a quick look at the New York Rangers projected lineups for their upcoming game against the Buffalo Sabres as they officially return from the 4 Nations Face-Off break.
The New York Rangers are set to face off against the Buffalo Sabres tonight at 5:30PM as both teams will officially return from the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.
However, here's the New York Rangers projected lineups for tonight's game, as it's has been confirmed that all players who played in the tournament have returned to the New York Rangers:
It was recently confirmed before the break that Adam Edstrom will be sidelined for 2-3 months with a lower-body injury. Which has ultimately left a spot open in the Rangers lineup to be filled.
NYR forward Adam Edstrom will miss two and a half to three and a half months with his lower-body injury. He had been playing well in a 4th line role. This could be season ending depending on his recovery and how the team plays.
Just keep in mind this is just a projection, as nothing has officially been confirmed by the New York Rangers themself. Once we get the official confirmation we will be sure to keep you updated.
The only that has been confirmed, is that Igor Shesterkin will be getting the start in tonight's game. Which is a bit of surprise considering he was dealing with an upper-body injury over the break.
