Former New York Rangers superstar Henrik Lundqvist has been busy. All the while, he's spent the last few years as an analyst for the NHL on TNT and appearing on MSG Network in the same role. There's one brand he always represented on the ice, which is making a comeback.

When Henrik Lundqvist wore pads on the ice, he used to wear the TPS Hockey Brand.
The brand itself seemed defunct, as it was owned by the baseball bat manufacturer, Louisville. The same brand that makes the Slugger, yes.
Made hockey pads in the 2010s when King Hank was in his prime, and have made a major announcement on social media today of their imminent return.
🏒Shift your game. Stay tuned, log in at noon on 01/08/2025. TPS is coming back!
TPS at one point was the leader in composite player sticks and goalie sticks during the 2000s-2010s.
Now, the iconic brand will see its rebirth in 2025, during the Igor Shesterkin era of the New York Rangers.
Speaking as a goaltender, TPS always had top notch goalie gear also. Henrik Lundqvist was a major supporter of the brand and wore TPS pads and gloves exclusively when they were available.

Hank would wear the TPS pads from the 2008 to 2011 seasons until he used Bauer as a replacement.
The pads above show a nice slick design, but for the person who now owns them, a Game Worn pair, paid a pretty penny for vintage equipment: per Fanatics $5k.
