The NHL's training camps have fired up for the season, and the New York Rangers have made another cut to the 63 man-roster they were carrying.

One of those players will be reassigned to the AHL's Hartford Wolfpack, an indication that goalie Talyn Boyok won't be making it to the opening night roster this season.
As the New York Rangers released an official statement on their social media account on X. Formerly know as Twitter.
UPDATE: Talyn Boyko has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The Rangers have reassigned Boyko to the Wolfpack, whose training camp will begin tomorrow on September 29th.
The 21-year-old goalie, played for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL for the 2023-24 season where he posted a 3.42 GAA along with a .888 save percentage in 26 games played, 13W-9L-1T.
Boyko was drafted by the New York Rangers in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, and will now join the Wolfpack.
It seems as if, the New York Rangers really have their choice of who will be in net, considering the solid tandem they had last season, so it doesn't make much sense to make any changes.
Boyko is a new prospect within the Rangers system and goalies like Igor Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick ultimately are secure in their #1 and #2 spots in the season.
