New York Rangers backup goalie Jonathan Quick to reach a massive career milestone
The duo helped lead the team to a Presidents Trophy in 2023-2024, and Jonathan Quick would start 27 of 82 games last season.
His record would be a respectable, 18-6-2, with a 2.62 GAA and a .911 save percentage.
He's just short of a career milestone, which could see him being the 14th NHL goalie to reach 400 wins in the NHL.
If he wins seven games starting out he'll be one game shy of former Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood and will reach the level of some legendary NHL goalies like Grant Fuhr, Curtis Joseph, and Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist.
Will Quick ever reach the level of Lundqvist at 459 wins?
Quick is regrettably in the latter part of his career, but going out with 400 wins would be a sweet way to part from the league, given he is already a Stanley Cup Champion 3-times over.
