The New York Rangers and head coach Mike Sullivan has just provided an update on superstar forward after he was forced to leave training camp on Friday due to suffered an injury.

Artemi Panarin suffered a lower-body injury and was forced to leave the ice and not return.
Panarin left practice with a lower body injury, the Rangers say. He won't return today.
Mike Sullivan Provides Update On Artemi Panarin's Lower-Body Injury
However, after training camp finished Mike Sullivan addressed the media and provided a critical update on Panarin's injury, and stated that the 33-year old forward has been listed as day-to-day but as a "precautionary" more than anything.

Certainly an unfortunate update from the organization as no one want's to hear that the superstar forward as sustained an injury at this time.
With that being said, it's very important to note that the team is still in the early stages of Training Camp and that there is no reason to rush Panarin back to the ice. However, the New York Rangers
first preseason games starts on Sunday, September 21st, against the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center for 1:00 PM.
