Laviolette Provides Update On Injured Players
We get an update on the injured players on the Rangers from head coach Peter Laviolette, speaking to the media.
Out of everyone currently out with an injury, he will be out the longest due to being placed on long term injured reserve that requires him to miss 10 games and 24 days.
He is ineligible to return until November 29th.
Filip Chytil is now eligible to return, as the injured reserve seven day absence requirement of not being on the team has expired.
Peter Laviolette says he is now currently day-to-day.
Highly doubtful we will see Chytil tomorrow against the Columbus Blue Jackets, so they will most likely keep him sidelined until after the long six day break.
No mention on the starting goaltender tomorrow, but it most likely remains between
Louis Domingue and Jonathan Quick.
