Laviolette Confirms Goaltender For Tonight. Plus Interesting Fact
Head coach Peter Laviolette has confirmed Louis Domingue will be starting at net tonight against the Minnesota Wild.
Interestingly, Domingue is set to become the first Rangers right-handed catching goaltender to play in a game for the team since Glen Hanlon back in 1986.
The right-handed goaltender has looked solid this season for the Hartford Wolf Pack with a record of 3-1, a .934 save percentage, and 1.75 goals against average. He also has a shutout.
This will be his 143rd NHL game played and first start with the Rangers. His NHL record is 59-60-10, with a .905 save percentage and 3.04 goals against average.
