Gary Bettman continues to deliver controversial news to all 32 NHL teams
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman relays some tough news to all 32 organizations.
Gary Bettman seems to be sticking with his usual tactics and prioritizing his money first' motto. According to a recent report, the NHL advises the New York Rangers, and every other NHL team to not complete trades during the Stanley Cup Final.
Of course Gary Bettman wants all eyes to be on the Stanley Cup Final and to have zero distractions from it, according to an insider with the Ottawa Senators organization.
«If the season ends tonight there is a chance we see a flood of moves by Monday. The league has gently nudged teams to let the Stanley Cup finish before they make any moves. While not enforceable the league has offered a suggestion to let the Cup be handed out without distraction.»
This is very disappointing considering many teams, including the New York Rangers are trying to make major offseason changes to reshape their roster before next season approaches.
