New York Rangers Enter The 2025-26 Campaign With Lower Expectations
Many believe the New York Rangers won't have a better season this year after how they performed last season, but they do have the potential to bounce back as they still have a roster full of high caliber players.
NHL Insider Frank Seravalli Issues Bold Proposition On The Rangers Future
«I don't think the Rangers should sell off and acquire valuable prospects and draft picks. I think the Rangers are a playoff team. I think they're bouncing right back into it,» Seravalli said.
The hiring of their new head coach Mike Sullivan will certainly add a whole new dynamic to the Rangers organization, something they didn't have while Peter Laviolette was coaching.
«They're going to have new blood with a new coach, new energy,» Seravalli said. «They have to defend better as a team, but maybe the coaching will help with some of that I'm bullish on the Rangers. I think they're in a prime spot to compete.»
The New York Rangers have the right pieces to go far this season and if they utilize it correctly they just might be a true contender in the Eastern Conference.
