Former NHL referee shares controversial take on Jacob Trouba's recent incident
Ex-NHL referee Tim Peel has shared his take on the controversy surrounding Jacob Trouba's latest elbow incident.
During game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers, Jacob Trouba delivered a high elbow to Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues during the 2nd period.
Lucky Trouba avoided a suspension but in the end he did receive a fine from the NHL Player Safety. However many have voiced their opinions on the situation, and one being former NHL referee Tim Peel in support of Jacob Trouba.
