Fans furious as refs show favouritism towards The Panthers in game 3
The New York Rangers and Florida Oanthers are currently in the middle of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finale.
The entire year season of the National Hockey League has had problems with the officiating, but it's definitely been more noticeable throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
During the first period the referees stopped the play for absolutely no reason, Sam Reinhart went down after a routine check from Jacob Trouba, with them doing this they stopped a 4 on 2 for the Rangers.
If you missed the play:
Completely no reason for this stoppage, yes Reinhart didn't down by no indications of him being seriously injured, however this costed the Rangers a crucial scoring change leaving everyone from the Rangers upset.
The Rangers are currently leading 4-2 after a shorthanded goal as they head into the third period.
