Expect Him To Really Take Off This Month!
Igor Shesterkin has had a good start to the season, despite his numbers all below his career averages.
He has a 9-4-0 record with a .915 save percentage and 2.54 goals against average.
A couple bad games compounded by the fact he missed a few weeks due to an injury has gotten him off to a shaky start.
Expect him to really take off starting this month.
For the month of December, Shesterkin has played in 15 games. Has a 10-3-2 record, .927 save percentage and 2.13 goals against average.
This should be the month he will get back to the powerhouse goaltender we all know him to be.
For the season, he is in the top 15 for expected save percentage ranks, joined by two other Rangers goalies with
Jonathan Quick and
Louis Domingue.
Jonathan Quick is an expected to make the start tomorrow against the Nashville Predators.
We will likely see Igor Shesterkin play Sunday against the San Jose Sharks.
