Just moments ago an NHL insider confirmed that a key forward is set to return from an upper-body injury that has left him sidelined since October 17th.

According to recent reports Detroit Red Wings forward, Patrick Kane will be returning to the Red Wings lineup for Firday nights game against the New York Rangers after being sidelined since Oct 17th, with an upper-body injury.
On Thursday morning, Kane had made his first appearance at the Red Wings practice where he revealed that he was feeling good and ready to go for Saturday nights game.
"We'll see. I'm feeling pretty good. It was nice to get back into practice with the team today. Other than that, I feel pretty good and we'll go from there.

"We'll see how it is (Friday). I don't think there's any real decision on when I'm back or anything like that."

"I was pretty confident I was going to be able to get through a practice and skate with the team. But you never know until you get into it, so I'm happy I was able to do that and participate and go the whole way." - Patrick Kane stated.

NHL Insider Confirms Patrick Kane Will Return For Saturday Night's Game Against The Rangers

However, on Firday morning Rangers insider Peter Baugh of The Athletic, confirmed that Kane will in fact return to the Red Wings lineup.
Looks like the Rangers will see Patrick Kane back in the lineup tonight for the Red Wings. He's been out since Oct. 17 but is working on the top power play at morning skate.
With Patrick Kane returning to the lineup, the New York Rangers must step up and play a full 60 minutes the right way if they wish to secure a victory against the Red Wings.
