Rookie Delivered A Monster Hit And Hit With Match Penalty
Matt Rempe throws a big hit on Nathan Bastian, but catches him right in the head and was given a match penalty and kicked out of the game.
Jonas Siegenthaler takes exception and challenges Rempe, who only needed a couple punches to take him down.
Bastian ended up going to the locker room after the massive hit.
The Rangers ended up killing all five minutes from the match penalty and then ended scoring on their power play opportunity from Mika Zibanejad to make it 1-0!
I don't know if I agree with the call to eject Rempe from the game, but you cannot deny he is a menace!
