Rasmus Andersson, of the Calgary Flames decided to play dirty, last night, with a late hit to the head on forward Patrik Laine of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Head coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Pascal Vincent, said the hit from Laine was definitely late and should hopefully lead to future discipline from the league.
The NHL Player Safety will definitely take a look at the incident and we will report what he hears from them, when we do.
Andersson was ejected from the game after the hit. The Columbus Blue Jackets won the game, 3-1.
