Could a major reunion happen soon, between Patrick Kane and the New York Rangers?
During his time in New York, Patrick Kane suffered a hip injury and had experienced it, before he arrived in New York.
Kane would leave New York unceremoniously, as he had to go into surgery to regain the quality of life he was missing in 2022-2023.

He would end up getting hip-resurfacing surgery in the hopes that could solve his issues on ice, it would be successful, and return to the ice full-strength in Detroit.
«He felt like he left something on the table because he wasn't at full strength.»

He would score 47 points in 51 games in Detroit, a return to form for Patrick Kane who looked like his old self, compared to Kane in a Blueshirt, who was struggling.
During his time there, Kane would only play 19 games in New York, score 12 points( 5 G, 7 A), and suffer on ice.
Prior to his time with the Red Wings, Kane had faced injury challenges during his time with the New York Rangers and the Chicago Blackhawks. He was ruled out due to undisclosed reasons on May 12, 2023 and prior to that had suffered a hip injury that season which required surgery.
It appears he is open to a return to the Rangers, should GM Chris Drury entertain the idea, as it looks like he may test free agency, but he could be another affordable option for the Rangers.
If Kane does return to New York, there's a great storyline for redemption for himself, not to mention another cup run with Peter Laviolette,
Artemi Panarin, and Alexis Lafreniere.
Just imagine a healthy Patrick Kane in New York, what we all wanted in the first place.
