It was a hotly contested season with many NHL superstars showing their talents and putting up their stats to help their case for the NHL awards. It was revealed today that the NHL will release the finalists list every day at 11am starting on Monday April 29th.
While awards like the Vezina and the Calder may have more clarity, trophies like the Hart is the most discussed as several superstars are in contention.
Players like Rangers superstar Artemi Panarin, Connor McDavid, Nikita Kucherov, Nathan Mackinnon and Auston Matthews are all in contention for this award and it will be fascinating how the votes will shake out.
Panarin had a phenomenal season with career numbers across the board. The 32-year-old winger had played all 82 games with 49 goals, 71 assists for 120 points and was a +18. Certainly, he will get some votes when it's time.
