Jon Cooper Gives Inspiring Quote After Lightning Placed On The Brink
The Tampa Bay Lightning find themselves down 0-3 in their first round series against the Florida Panthers after a 5-3 loss. Head coach Jon Cooper gives inspiring quote after loss that now has them on the brink of elimination. Take a listen:
"If you're not gonna believe, you don't have to come, so let's see how many guys show up tomorrow"
Powerful quote from Cooper. Unfortunately being down 0-3 is practically a death sentence when it comes to seven game series in sports. In the history of the NHL, only four teams have managed to overcome such a deficit, out of 204 teams that have faced such a situation.
Hopefully his words don't fall on deaf ears. Game 4 is Saturday, April 27th.
